Article 28 - The right to an education.
This week, our class had a wonderful visit from Mary, who came to talk to us all about what life was like long ago in Magherafelt. She shared fascinating stories and helped us imagine how people lived, worked, and travelled in the past.
Mary brought along a collection of old photographs that showed Magherafelt many years ago. We loved spotting familiar streets and buildings and seeing how different they looked compared to today. She also showed us a range of real artefacts from long ago.
Her visit helped us understand how things have changed over time and made our topic come to life. We learned so much, and we are very grateful to Mary for sharing her knowledge and bringing history right into our classroom.
