Article 28 – The Right to Education. Children have the right to learn and go to school.
P2 have been busy exploring the rule of the “magic e”! Through fun, hands-on activities, the class has been learning how adding a silent “e” at the end of a word can change the vowel sound.
The children enjoyed a “garden hunt,” where they searched for hidden magic e words, helping them to recognise and read these words in an engaging way. They have also been reading simple sentences containing magic e words, building their confidence and fluency.
Children have also been constructing their own magic e words. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and growing skills as they become more confident readers and writers!
