P3 found a dry spell this week to get outside and create our own pirates out of natural materials. We were grouped up and had to talk about what our pirate might look at. We loved searching the school grounds for natural resources we could use and thinking what they could be used for - sticks for a peg leg, a stone for an eye patch or a fern leaf for a big pirate bread! Our pirates turned out ship-shape and ready to sail!
