Article 24 – Right to Health - Children have the right to good quality healthcare, healthy living conditions, and to learn how to stay healthy.
Today, our class had a special visit from Mollie’s mummy, Nurse McMillan, who came to talk to the children about her important job and how we can all stay healthy. She explained the different ways nurses help people every day and why looking after our bodies is so important.
The children were excited to see some of the real equipment she uses at work, and they had great fun listening to each other’s heartbeats using a stethoscope.
